I often get asked if I have late night cravings and if so what do I eat? There have been plenty of nights when I'm up late working on my business (like tonight) and I crave Breyers Vanilla Ice Cream.
It's hard as a Nutritionist because I know it's not healthy, but on the other hand, a "small" cheat won't hurt. That's not the correct mindset Movers! I want to encourage all of you to IGNORE those thoughts! I've found that mixed nuts, Greek yogurt and mixed berries, citrus fruits, Kale chips, and protein smoothies are a few examples of healthy alternatives that will satisfy those cravings and limit your calorie count.
I would also caution you AGAINST eating less than 2 hours before you go to sleep. If you don't, those calories are going to cause stubborn belly fat and weight gain!
Just food for thought!
